Six stages, done properly

Waterproofing is one of the most important stages of any toilet renovation. Poor waterproofing can result in water leakage, damp walls, mould, and damage to surrounding areas or the unit below.

Hacking & Removal
We carefully hack and remove existing floor and wall tiles, finishes, sanitary fittings, and other affected materials as required. All debris is properly cleared and disposed of, while reasonable care is taken to minimise dust, noise, and disruption.

Waterproofing
We properly prepare the required floor and wall areas and apply a suitable waterproofing system before commencing tiling works. Where required, a water ponding test will be carried out before tile installation.

Wall & Floor Tiling
We install new wall and floor tiles with proper setting-out, alignment, levelling, cutting, and finishing. For floor tiles, the correct gradient is formed towards the floor traps to allow proper drainage.

Grouting & Finishing
Suitable grout is applied neatly to the tile joints to provide a clean and durable finish. Necessary touch-up and cleaning works are carried out after completion.

Plumbing Works
Installation, replacement, or modification of water supply pipes, drainage pipes, taps, shower fittings, floor traps, flushing systems, and other sanitary connections. All connections are checked and tested for proper operation and water leakage.

Sanitary Fittings & Final Installation
We can install or reinstall toilet bowls, wash basins, vanity cabinets, mirrors, shower fittings, toilet accessories, lighting, and other fixtures as required. Before handover, we carry out a final inspection and clean the work area.

How long does a toilet renovation take?

The duration depends on the toilet size, site conditions, selected materials, and scope of work. A complete hacking and retiling project will generally require approximately one to three weeks. A more accurate schedule will be provided after the site inspection and confirmation of the work scope.

Do I need approval to renovate my condominium toilet?

Most condominiums require owners to submit a renovation application to the Management Corporation or managing agent before renovation begins. There may also be requirements regarding working hours, deposits, contractor registration, and renovation procedures. We can assist you with the necessary renovation information for submission.

Why is waterproofing important?
